What once began at an exhibition in Voorburg as a playful battle between their sculptures and paintings has grown into a collaboration between four dyed-in-the-wool painters and sculptors that is as serious as it is loose.

They explore, often in response to each other's work, the dilemmas between 2D and 3D. Thus they find each other somewhere, or just miss each other, in that creative space between the second and third dimensions, between sculpture and painting. In the coming years, these four artists intend to exhibit their paintings, sculptures and hybrids together under the name ART by TEND. We cordially invite you to come and stand there, to come and move, in the space between our works, to fill it with your perception, and with your all-filling imagination.
